Gyms and fitness

Give members an easier way to ask for help

Members need a way to ask about access, classes, and broken equipment without another fitness app.

A RoomLnk code at reception, in the studio, or beside the machine opens a private chat with the team. No personal phone number. No install.

Help on the floor

The question happens next to the machine or the studio door

After-hours access, a cancelled class, a dead treadmill, or a lost item in the changing room should not depend on finding a staff member who has stepped away.

RoomLnk gives that spot a private room. Reception and the floor team can answer, and the member can send a photo of the machine.

Member conversations

Practical questions, not another workout app

Use the chat for facility help. Keep coaching programs and memberships in their own systems.

After-hours access

“How do I access the gym after hours?” starts at the entrance code.

Class status

“Is tonight's class still running?” belongs on the studio door.

Broken equipment

“This machine isn't working” can include a photo of the console.

Lost property

Changing-room questions stay private without a public social post.

Members in another language

Translate a facility question and keep the original.

A quick voice note

Send a short clip from the floor when typing is awkward.

On the equipment

The machine can report itself

A card on the treadmill opens a room for that piece of equipment. The member scans and says it is not working. Staff already know which machine.

This is facility support, not medical advice. Injuries and emergencies stay on the gym's safety process.

How it works

Member support without another fitness app

01

Place the code

Add it to reception, a machine, a studio, or the entrance.

02

Member scans

The chat opens in the browser they already have.

03

Ask the team

Access, classes, equipment, or lost property stays in that room.

04

Show the equipment

A photo of the console helps the floor team.

05

Reception responds

The business team shares the private room.

06

Keep safety separate

Injuries and emergencies use the gym's safety process, not the chat alone.

Relevant RoomLnk features

A direct line from the floor to the team

Members get help in the browser. Staff keep their personal numbers off the gym floor.

  • Member support without another app.
  • Equipment issue reporting with photos.
  • Voice clips from the floor.
  • Translation for the message.
  • Team access for reception and floor staff.
  • Private rooms instead of personal phone numbers.

RoomLnk is not a medical or emergency service. Direct injuries and urgent safety issues through the gym's incident process.

Safety boundary

Facility chat is not medical care

Use rooms for access, timetables, equipment, and lost property. Say who monitors them during staffed and unstaffed hours.

Injuries, medical emergencies, and harassment should follow the gym's safety and incident process. Do not position the chat as clinical or emergency care.

Questions and answers

Gym messaging with RoomLnk

Do members need another fitness app?

No. A QR code opens a private chat in the browser.

Can a broken machine have its own code?

Yes. A code on that machine tells the team which equipment the member is reporting.

Can they send a photo of the console?

Yes. Photos and voice clips help the floor team see the fault.

Is this for medical advice?

No. Use it for facility and class questions. Injuries and emergencies follow the gym's safety process.

Can reception share the rooms?

Yes. Business team access lets reception and floor staff answer the conversations you assign.

Can class questions be translated?

Yes. A member can write in their own language, and staff can translate the message.
