Does RoomLnk require a guest phone number?
No. A guest can join with a display name without providing a phone number, email address, or RoomLnk account. Other information may still be processed through use of the service as described in the privacy policy.
Does temporary expiry make a room anonymous?
No. Temporary expiry limits the room’s lifetime and messages are deleted after a free room expires, but anonymity should not be assumed. Technical information and usage logs may be processed, and participants control what they type or share.
Who is responsible for business use?
RoomLnk is responsible for its service and published practices. Each business is responsible for deciding whether and how it uses rooms, what staff discuss, account access, customer notices, retention settings, records, and its applicable legal duties.
