Room link or QR code
Open the original full URL, confirm the QR code points to the expected RoomLnk domain, and check whether a free room has reached its 12-hour expiry. Test another supported browser or network when the page does not load.
Start with the checks below for room access, expiry, links, QR codes, accounts, billing, and browser behaviour. Business account users can then contact the RoomLnk team through the app support channel with enough context to investigate safely.
For account, billing, or room support, contact the RoomLnk team through the business app support channel. Sign in with the affected business account so the request can be connected to the correct subscription and authorised user.
Open App SupportBefore contacting support
Open the original full URL, confirm the QR code points to the expected RoomLnk domain, and check whether a free room has reached its 12-hour expiry. Test another supported browser or network when the page does not load.
Confirm you are signed into the intended account, the relevant account user still has access, and neither the plan's active-room nor Open Room limit has been reached. Starter, Pro, and Business have different capacities.
Stop sharing an affected link, avoid repeating sensitive information, preserve only the context your incident process requires, and contact authorised support. Never send passwords, payment credentials, or one-time codes.
Useful diagnostic detail
Include the action that failed, whether you were creating, joining, scanning, messaging, managing, or billing, and whether the issue affects one room or every room. Add the approximate time and timezone, device type, operating system, browser name and version, connection type, and exact visible error. A screenshot can help when it excludes private messages, names, room links, account details, and other unnecessary information.
For billing, identify the plan and authorised account without sending complete card data. For an expired free room, remember that the documented plan deletes messages after the 12-hour expiry. For business history, deletion, greeting, user, or expiry questions, describe the expected setting and what the dashboard currently shows.
RoomLnk support is not an emergency or specialist advice service. Use the relevant provider, emergency service, security process, payment dispute route, formal complaint channel, or privacy contact when the issue belongs there. Product guidance is also available in the resource library and on the how-it-works page.
Before retrying an action repeatedly, refresh once and note whether the page shows an expired room, capacity message, access problem, or network error. Avoid creating replacement rooms until you know whether participants may still use the original link. When a workaround succeeds, include that result because it can distinguish a browser problem from an account, room, QR-code, or connectivity issue.
Never post a private room URL in a public support message. A room link is an access path for its conversation, so support should receive only the minimum identifier and diagnostic context through the authorised app channel. Redact customer names and message content unless an approved investigation specifically requires them.
Questions and answers
Describe what you were trying to do, the page or room context, the approximate time, the browser and device, and the exact error wording. Do not send passwords, one-time security codes, payment credentials, or unnecessary message content.
Free rooms are documented to expire after 12 hours and their messages are deleted after expiry. Complete the exchange and record required outcomes before expiry rather than relying on support to restore a temporary conversation.
Do not wait for RoomLnk support or an ordinary room reply. Contact the relevant emergency service, venue, provider, security team, crisis route, or other immediate local assistance.
