What this demonstration is showing

The customer side represents the journey after someone opens a room URL or scans its QR code. The real joining flow asks for a display name rather than a RoomLnk account, email address, password, or phone number. Once inside, the person and room creator can exchange messages in a focused one-to-one conversation.

The business side illustrates how a customer-facing team can view active rooms, respond, and keep separate enquiries organised. Paid plans add a permanent business link and room-management tools. Pro and Business also add reusable Open Room entries that collect context and create a separate private conversation for every customer.

The QR code is an entrance

A real code should be labelled with its purpose, responding team, and expected timing. It can appear in print or digital material, but customers should also have another contact route when scanning is inaccessible or the request is urgent.

The display name is not verification

A name helps both people follow the conversation but does not prove identity. Account changes, protected records, payments, release of property, and sensitive decisions should use the organisation’s approved authentication process.

The room is not the whole workflow

Bookings, orders, support tickets, project actions, consent, invoices, and regulated notes still belong in their responsible systems. RoomLnk provides the conversational layer around those actions rather than replacing every platform.

Try the next step

Test with one real customer moment

Start with a low-risk question such as directions, availability, appointment preparation, pickup timing, or visitor arrival. Write the invitation, test the browser join experience, and decide who owns the reply before publishing a code.

Include colleagues who will monitor the room and someone familiar with privacy, accessibility, and escalation requirements. A useful pilot checks more than whether a message can be sent: it confirms that the invitation is understood, responses use reliable information, formal outcomes are captured elsewhere, and customers can still choose another suitable contact route.
